Yes, that is a snarky, argumentative statement but you seem to be saying Hitfilm is not useful because to make it useful you have to add other software that then makes it too expensive.
It is worth to mention that many feature are missing if I want to use Hitfilmpro as a standalone video editor but third party software can fulfill those missing features, though Hitfilm comes with other many features which are very This "other" editing software that apparently has what you want at a price you like, well then maybe you should use that. That is why I found Hitfilm is costly compared to other software which comes with thirdparty software. and that is why third party software are useful. I dont want hours to create several layers just for a suitable title etc. I want that bundled software to use only with Hitfilm to speed up my editing work and not want to purchase third party software ($848-$349= $499 or cost more than Hitfilmpro) for every video editor which I dont use.
